About Big Skyy Bistro

Located at 1490 University Ave Ste 102, Riverside, CA 92507, Big Skyy Bistro operates as a chinese restaurant serving Riverside in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under cantonese restaurant, dim sum restaurant, restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Riverside; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in California are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Big Skyy Bistro at (951) 328-1688; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, bigskyybistro.com.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 805 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinese restaurants in Riverside.

Riverside is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Riverside is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The restaurant is back!!! This is the best authentic Chinese restaurant. Our fave go to- lobster Hong Kong, beef chow fun is so good everytime. We also get braised or fried tofu, juicy dumplings, and the green beans are always so yummy! To be honest, everything is so good! We have been missing this place and so happy they got the next door space to have the restaurant. Go in and support and enjoy!

I came yesterday and returned today! The food and service was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the poached chicken and crispy pork. I've attached a picture of what remained...

One of the best Chinese food in riverside. The owners were super nice and funny. Their food is really good and authentic. There is also a variety to choose from. Their siu mai is huge and tastes amazing. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. It’s all hand made so no pre prepared food. I think there is a good takeout spot next door that is owned by the same people

I want to be clear β€” I loved this place. Their dim sum? Incredible. Their entrees? Always on point. Big Sky was my go-to Chinese food spot in Riverside for years. Then tonight happened. I placed a DoorDash pickup order at their new location β€” sweet and sour pork, beef chow fun, beef porridge, pork and shrimp siu mai, and white rice. They even threw in extra rice, and I was genuinely excited to dig in. That excitement ended the moment I opened the rice, scooped it into my bowl, and found a MAGGOT sitting on top of my rice. I called the restaurant immediately and calmly explained what happened. They told me to contact DoorDash since that's how I ordered. Fine. I reported it through DoorDash's platform and waited. Then I got a call back from DoorDash β€” not to help me, but to relay a message: Big Sky had contacted them specifically to refuse my refund. Let that sink in. A customer found a maggot in their food, couldn't eat a single bite of a $54.19 order, and the restaurant's response was to actively call DoorDash to make sure I didn't get my money back. I understand that occasionally bugs happen in food service. It's gross, but I was fully prepared to move on had they simply ta

Definitely my go to Chinese food spot in the IE. Their food never fails me, especially the egg drop soup. They also have really good chicken fried rice and their soup dumplings are so yummy. The portions are also pretty big so you can share. I always come here with my family or my fiancΓ©. The service is always amazing and staff is nice. I always get the milk tea as well and it's basically unlimited refills. It's also spacious inside, has good parking and many options to choose from on the menu. :)
